I totally forgot to post Drake's class valentine party pictures.. OK I may be 2 weeks late, but heck better late than never...
The kindergartners at Campbell had a ice cream sundae party for their Valentines Party. It went over well with the kids, and after finishing their sundaes they got to dig in their bags to look for there goodies and cards. Drake found tons of his favorite Spongebob cards in his bag. He had a great class party. We are very lucky to have a great room mom and all the parents that volunteer for his class. Heck his teacher is AMAZING why wouldn't we want to help out.
So do they look alike??

Day at the farm.
Spending the day at the farm is one of our favorite pass times. The kids get to run around and play with sticks, rocks, heck anything they find and you can always find stuff at the farm. One day Drake and Jess came home with a cow skull, this time we found a horse skull and other bones around a tree. It is so exciting to see all the animals we can find and to explore the woods.
Drake even got to take out his 22 this time and shoot a armadillo. He loves hunting for armadillo, so he was excited that he found one today to shoot. The kids love driving at the farm, and this time even Carter was big enough to get behind the wheel with a little help. Heck Carter had another first by catching his first fish (perch) at the farm pond, as Drake racked up a few more fish to his record.
The day ended great when we caught up with Ramsey, Jess's older brother, in the tractor and Drake got to head out with him. He was going to help him unload some deer feeders and spend the rest of the day with his Uncle. Jess, Carter and I packed up and headed home so Jess could catch a flight for work, and Ramsey brought Drake home later that evening. It was another wonderful day at the farm and I look forward to many more.

Sandy, our precious pup!
Sandy is our sweet Lab girl.. I call her a pup, because she will be one in May. But a smart pup she is. We love to take her to the pond behind my In laws and 'work' her, as Drake calls it. We have so much fun and seeing her fetch, swim, and listen to commands, amaze me at her age. She does such a great job. The boys had been begging for a dog and Jess said he would get a dog as long as it was a lab that he could hunt with. Jess and his family are big duck hunters, go figure as that is where Drake's name came from. Sandy made a few hunts this past season and as Drake and Jess said, she did well for so young. We are proud of our sweet pup...
Sometimes our sweet girl thinks she is a raccoon, chasing Drake up the tree!! The first few times it was funny, but it seems like each time now she gets higher and higher and I am so scared she is going to break something when she jumps down.. SILLY DOG!

Grandma Sarah
Grandma B
Even though we have made a home here in Sugar Land, and wouldn't change that for the world, I still call Bay City home. The town Jess and I were both raised in and where fell in love, a town my parents and many of our old school friends still live in. I love to visit and it brings back wonderful memories.
My mother works at the local high school in Bay City, and Drake has been begging to go spend some time up there with her and to run the 'big track'. So being that we were off for Presidents Day and their school was not we decided to go spend some time up there. We met up at the school and the boys got to meet some of her friends that she worked with and I got to see some of my old teachers. The boys were amazed watching the 'Athletic' boys work out. Drake asked if that was what he gets to do when he gets older. He also got his wish of running the big track. I never thought that he would make the whole track 'running' but low and behold I think he might have walked about 5 steps, he never gave up and was so proud when he finished. Carter wanted to run too but got tired and decided just to sit and watch. We then got to go spend some time with my dad, 'Skipper' as they call him. After that we loaded up for lunch and met my Grandma B at the local Dairy Queen. The kids got spoiled as always and enjoyed ice cream. Next we head to Grandma Sarah's house and stayed and played and opened every door and drawer at Grandma Sarah's place. We wrapped up our outing with new boots for Drake from Wild Bills, from some reason Carter Bugs feet couldn't fit perfect in a pair so we gave up. Headed back to my parents, DEDE and Skipper, so C could nap and D could hang with Skipper. I always love spending time with my family and seeing my kids interact with my parents, it is an amazing feeling.......
